In a quest to bring more happiness to the world, Meegan transitioned from a career in school counseling to the world of ice cream in 2022. Believing in the importance of human connection and the power ice cream has to bring people together, Meegan knew that a welcoming space with high-quality ice cream would do just that…one scoop at a time. When a beautiful, walkable location became available in the heart of her neighborhood, Humble Cow Ice Cream was born.
From the day Meegan started Humble Cow Ice Cream, her lifelong friend Dyan was in the background helping. Dyan and Meegan have one of those rare friendships that span decades—from pig tails to parenting. As Humble Cow grew, Dyan decided to leave her career in technology and partner with Meegan to expand Humble Cow. Turns out they make a great work team as well, complimenting each other’s strengths.

Making and selling great ice cream creates all kinds of opportunities to positively impact the lives of people in our community. Whether it’s creating a space where families come together to celebrate milestones, giving a high school student their first job, participating in a fundraiser, or partnering with another small business with similar values—we get to play a small role in making people’s lives better. Simply handing someone a scoop of ice cream creates a joyful moment and we’re here for it.
