The Humble Cart can be used inside or outside but must be placed in an area that is easily accessible and flat. We wheel the cart from our trailer to your location and so we must be able to access the area without any stairs. We recommend putting it in a cool, shady spot and we also have an umbrella if that isn’t possible. Once the cart is set up it must remain in place for the full duration of the event. For longer events the cart can be plugged in but it isn’t required for events under 4 hours.

We have teal and black coolers that are branded with our logo and they hold up to 120 scoops each. The black coolers stand on 4 legs that can be removed for transportation. The black coolers sit at hip height and feature a flip top lid that allows for easy self service. The dimensions are roughly 36 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 35 inches tall. Our teal coolers offer the same dimensions and flip top lid but they do not stand on legs, they sit stationary on a table or bench.

Most of our catering options allow up to 4 flavors of ice cream with the exception of the Humble Crocks. The crocks each hold a single flavor of ice cream that serves 50 people. You can order as many crocks as you like to add additional flavors.

Leftover ice cream is yours to keep. We cannot return it to our stores. Humble Scoops are easy to take home with you. For our Humble Crock and Cart orders, any ice cream left in our large white tubs can either be transferred to pints for you to take home or you can take the large buckets home and return them to us once you finish the ice cream.

The price per serving varies based upon which catering option you select. The Humble Cart is the most expensive option because you’re paying for the cart rental, pickup/delivery and staffing in addition to the ice cream. The unstaffed Humble Crocks on the other hand offer some of the lowest prices per serving. The price per serving is also greatly impacted by how many people you are serving. We’re happy to work with you to create a solution that will fit within your budget.

That depends. We secure dates as people request them. If you’re looking for a weekend in the summer you should probably plan pretty far out, but weekdays are easier to get last minute. It’s always worth checking, even if it is last minute because we also get cancellations.

For catering options that include a rental fee (Humble Cart, Humble Crocks and Humble Coolers) we require a deposit to secure your date. That deposit is fully refundable up until 30 days before your event date. After that date you will forfeit your deposit if you need to cancel. One week before your event we invoice you for the remaining charges (for the ice cream, cones, delivery, etc.).

You are also responsible for returning them clean and in good shape within 24 hours of your event.

Yes, you can. When you fill out your interest form you’ll provide us with all of the information about your event. We’ll call you and work together to make sure everything is perfect and the timing is exactly the way you need it.

We currently only deliver within 20 miles of our stores and have limited availability to do so. We charge $3 per round trip mile for delivery and pick up. The most economic option is to pick up and return your order to/from one of our stores. We also have many people who have us deliver their order but they return the equipment within 24 hours of the event to reduce costs.

It depends on the option you select. The Humble Cart is cold when we drop it off and can also be plugged in for longer events. The Humble Crocks also arrive frozen and remain cold for up to 3 hours depending on the conditions. For Humble Coolers, we provide industrial ice packs that will keep scops frozen for several hours depending on the conditions. We do not provide dry ice, but you can also purchase dry ice on your own to extend the life of your scoops as you travel or for longer events. For Humble Cups, it is up to you to keep them frozen but we can help make suggestions.
